This pattern illustration started as a few simple strawberry sketches with variations in size, shape, and color. It ended up inspiring me to practice creating an endless pattern.

The goal of this project was to take my sketches and create a pattern that could be used on surfaces such as fabric, digital wallpaper, decorated paper, and merchandise.

Initial sketches done with marker and colored pencil on sketchbook paper. Scanned into Procreate and recreated digitally with marker and colored pencil inspired digital brushes.
